The Artemide Melete Wall Sconce is at once bright, white, smooth and sharp. It is a rectangular box of die-cast aluminum designed to focus the majority of light up and across the wall. However, a smooth oval opening on the bottom provides a decorative focal point and allows for a gentle wash of downlight. The design of these sconces exceeds expectation, i.e. the real thing is considerably nicer than what one sees in the image. Will be installing them tomorrow-- can't wait to see them installed and powered up.
