I initially bought the white pendant and returned it because the color wasn't a pure white. I got matte black instead, which looks much better. I love the design and quality of the pendant. The medium size is perfect over the island in our open kitchen. My only complaint is the piece that attaches the cord to the ceiling is a cheap plastic dome. It looks cheap and the color is an off white. We spray painted it white to blend in with the ceiling.
