The Kira Side Table from Gervasoni takes a contemporary approach to solid and void, stacking a hollow, open cube atop a closed, solid base for a striking play of geometry. The design draws from Japanese minimalism, with its name inspired by kirakira, meaning sparkling, a fitting reference to the table’s textured, luminous surface. Cast aluminum forms both volumes, with rounded corners softening the industrial shape and giving it a more refined feel. A chrome finish runs across the textured surface, adding a reflective quality that shifts subtly with the light.
