Lindsey Adams Adelman
Lindsey Adams Adelman is an American lighting designer known for her works with Roll & Hill. A New York City native, Adelman has specialized in lighting design since 1996 after studying industrial design at the Rhode Island School of Design. She founded her own studio, Lindsey Adelman Studio, in 2006. Her designs are inspired by the desire to capture the fleeting beauty of nature in industrial modular systems, and she continues to be obsessed with creating forms that maximize light’s sensual effect and highlight emptiness. Her work has been featured in the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, Design Miami, Nilufar Gallery, BDDW and others. She continues to live and work in New York City with her husband and their son.
