These fans are stylish, quiet and compliment many different vibes. The hand-held remote is a nice convenience.
Love the Lapa Fan!

I bought the Lapa fan from Modern Fan a couple of years ago for my former home, and have since moved into a new home and bought four more of the exact same fan. Love them as they are sort of different without being so different. They are simple and fit with the style of both houses. This house has very high ceilings and they are simple and will not take away from that. The galvanized color and silver fan blades sort of fade into the room so the balance is great. I had a problem with the light on the first one I bought and went back to Modern Fan and they were amazing to deal with, sent me out a new light cover and it worked perfectly. I would recommend the fan and Modern Fan Company (Lumens, too). They were great to deal with and a fan might look good but if there is a problem it is always nice to know they will make it right!
Excellent quality

We've owned the Lapa ceiling fan for 12 years in another home and they are extremely well built and long lasting. We love the sleek design and contemporary look. The Modern Fan Company fans are definitely worth the money if you're looking for good design and longevity in a ceiling fan.

This is the 16th Lapa fan I have purchased over the last several years. I have enjoyed everyone and will continue to fill my fan needs with the Lapa fans. Quality construction, great engineering and technically way ahead of the completion. Move air quietly and effectively.
Modern Fan Company
The Modern Fan Company was founded in 1997 by industrial designer Ron Rezek in Ashland, Oregon. It was the first (and to this day, only) company of its kind: a designer and manufacturer of contemporary ceiling fans. It was established based on the overwhelming success of Rezek's 1986 design of the Stratos Ceiling Fan, which did away with all ornate brass scrollwork and blade irons standard up until that time.
