The Lady Costanza Floor Lamp by Luceplan is the latest edition to the Costanza series. Warm light from the shade can be positioned over a dining table or conversation area. Telescopic height and the ability to rotate 360 degree on its base, create an elegant yet functional effect. The structure is unusually light and the base has a handle making it incredibly easy to move around a room, staying true to the original concept of the Costanza project; movement, flexibility, relations. The diffuser is made of a Makrolon polycarbonate sheet. Two ways to manage luminosity; one with a touch dimmer on the sensor rod which has three levels of intensity, and an on/off control with a pedal switch.

Every part of the design is well thought out. Fairly easy to setup, although it helps to have a second person since it's so big. But the arc is beautiful, the light is a nice glow if you're using a soft white incandescent. Perfect for a dining room or living room.

Luceplan

Established in 1978 by architects Riccardo Sarfatti, Paolo Rizzatto and Sandra Severi, Luceplan defined its goal of democratic quality design, free of stylistic clichés and opulence, from the very onset.
