The Alessi La Cupola Stovetop Espresso coffee maker brings modern European flair to early morning routines. Designed by Aldo Rossi in 1990, the La Cupola coffee maker holds six cups of liquid. Intense aroma and flavor of the coffee is produced by passing water vertically upwards through the coffee grounds. The espresso maker is made of cast aluminum with a polyamide handle. The boiler has a thick flanged aluminum base to guarantee even heat distribution and shield the body from flame.

Excellent Anniversary Gift

I purchased the La Cupola as an anniversary present. My boyfriend was wanting an esspresso maker but didnt have the space for an electric coutertop model. The La Cupola looks great stored out on the stove and the size is perfect. It makes a wonderful esspresso and is easy to use. We are both very happy with the product and look forward to making espresso's every morning.
