Design duo Alberto Saggia & Valerio Sommella bring a design approach centered on formal, material, technological, and functional innovation. Here, Saggia and Sommella underscore the formal beauty of contrasting opal glass with bold metal. Artisans mouth blow opal glass in two layers to achieve a plump, delectable form. In skewer fashion, a metal accent pierces through the glass shade, giving it a floating effect. A clean, sumptuous light filters through the glass with minimal glare.
