The Knox Chandelier from Maxim Lighting arranges five rounded glass globes around a central stem, each one held by its own sloping arm that extends outward before leveling out near the end. That stepped arm shape gives the piece a mid-century-inspired look throughout. The globes are glass, set into a steel frame, evenly spaced around the full circumference of the piece for an overall balanced, radiating shape.

Maxim Lighting

Back in 1965, Jacob Sperling came to Los Angeles to study aeronautical engineering. Inspired by a job working for a lighting retailer, he turned his mechanical skills to the manufacture of lighting fixtures, building them in his garage and selling them out of his station wagon. In 1970, he brought brother Zvi on to help, and Maxim Lighting was born.
