An elongated egg-shaped globe gives the Knot Uovo LED Pendant from Brokis a soft, rounded outline, while a thick rope passes through the glass and finishes in a knot below. Contemporary styling comes through in the clean surfaces, accentuated by handblown glass, tactile rope, and minimal metal details. A metal hood houses the LED, and a glass diffuser shields the light source to provide a soft glow. The distinctive shape brings comfortable overhead illumination to dining tables, gathering areas, or grouped installations in residential and public spaces.

Brokis

Brokis was founded in 2010 by a group of glass artisans based in the Czech Republic. Though their company is young, the designers’ accumulated experience in the age-old art of Bohemian glassblowing has bolstered their portfolio with a range of quality hand-made lamps. Their lighting collections have since achieved acclaim by combining traditional, hand-blown glass with other high-quality materials, such as wood and hand-pressed metal.
