Key Features

Eco-Friendly
Made in Italy
It's no surprise that the Alessi Kettle with Bird Whistle has sold more units than any other item in Alessi history. Designed by Michael Graves in 1985, the Alessi bird kettle has a youthful personality and a simple geometry, allowing it to heat faster than other kettles thanks to its tapered stainless steel body and spout. The bird spout cheerfully whistles when the water has reached a boil.

Cover should be more loose to open. It is the fastest water heater.

After a lot of looking at this teapot, I finally ordered it when there was a sale, it is good looking, very shiny, and hope to keep it that way, It'll will be making a lot of hot water for tea, and the french press for coffee. And it's whistle is loud enough to hear anywhere in my townhouse. Hoping to enjoy it forever.

I Love This Whistling Kettle

I previously owned this kettle for two years but had to get a mew one one when I accidentally forgot about the original one as it boiled away on the stove for too long. As a result, the plastic bird whistle and sphere on the lid melted; the inside bottom of the kettle turned black; and the outside bottom of the kettle turned a copper-color. I love this kettle so much that I bought a second one--this time from YLiving. It took a few weeks to ship, but it was worth the wait! I'll never leave it on the stove for too long every again.

Alessi

These household goods are born somewhere quite exquisite, somewhere between manufacturing and art. In the last 90 years, three generations of Alessi (Giovanni, Carlo, Alberto) have creatively led the company, through changes in materials (brass to stainless steel) and styles (from formal to clever and modern).
