I would not buy this fan again. I had no idea that it would require a whole lot of wiring to make it work. I hired an electrician who told me to get another van or face having to cut into my roof or create drywall damage to add extra wires so that the unusual wall switch would work. There is no remote option alas. This would also fix the issue. Do not buy this van. It is a terrific pain to install. Lumens customer service would not help me exchange it.
