The Josephine Tulip Flower from Serax closes into a tighter cluster of petals that curve inward near the top, staying folded together in a compact form. Designed by Kris Van Assche, the piece stands on a single thin glass stem running the full height of the flower down to its base. Made from borosilicate glass, the folded petals give the piece a more compact profile near the top of the stem than an open bloom. It works well on its own or, grouped with a few additional stems, for a fuller arrangement on a table or shelf.
