Dainty in scale, so if you desire something minimal and less run of the mill, it is a great choice. The brass is quite bright, so would not call it "aged brass" as described, but if you desire a clear honest brass finish, it is pretty.

The scale of this light is perfect for larger scale ceiling heights and grand islands with tall ceilings. Our space was scaled down to average heights, and minimal island size, so we chose the smaller pendant which has a dainty jeweled effect on the space.

Installed in my powder bath and absolutely love it. Super bright and clean and the perfect transitional piece. A little challenging to install because the chain is difficult to open for adjustment without damaging it. Overall happy with it and would recommend! Also the correct light bulb is key. 5" is right for the smaller size fixture.
