The LED strips provide a great accent light under millwork, for my project, it was placed under kitchen cabinets as a wall wash.

Great glowing background light

The WAC InvisiLED tape lights are exactly what we needed for our "floating" library shelves (ie stand out from the wall a couple inches). The quality is excellent, and my husband installed easily and pretty quickly with no problems (and no swearing! :-) . I will say he is quite handy and understands electrical but no extensive knowledge is required. I would say it's important to consult Lumens to be sure you have the right connectors etc. before you order. One other thing to note: There are two wattage options--60 and 100. Glad we chose the 60 because it puts out quite a bit of light. 100 watt would have been too much for the desired "soft glow" illumination (vs strong task light) to wash the wall behind the shelves and the credenza surface--20" below. As it is installed on the back face of the bottom horizontal rail of the shelving, our books soften the light, but we may still decide to put it on a dimmer.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

High quality strips, which have consistent and accurate color temperatures. I went with the 24V system which runs off one transformer with runs split to three under cabinet sections. Hint ... replace the nails in the clips to hold the wires in place with #4 wood screws 1" or 3/4" if you are installing into typical particle board wood on kitchen cabinets. Also you will need many more than the 2-3 that they will have in the cable kits. I wish they sold these as an accessory.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

I have used the invisiled as under cabinet lighting in a number of customers houses in the last two years. I really like the results it gives on granite and other counter tops. I would recommend it for use in any house.

Very nice bright light

I purchased several sections of this LED lighting in 3000K, which I think is the perfect temperature for most situation unless there is nothing but old incandescent in the room. (My guess is 3000K will be the new standard temperature for lighting once incandescent goes away). This lighting is VERY bright, and you might not need the Pro 2. I have it turned down on a dimmer. Make sure you get a compatible dimmer. Note that the Lutron Maestro dimmers do NOT work. I used the Diva dimmers, which are a little more old-school, but they work perfect. The tape on the back of the lights is very strong and I didn't need anything else to stick it under my cabinets.
