The Infinite LED Chandelier from George Kovacs defies conventional design with its continuous spiral form that appears to move through space. The aluminum and acrylic construction gives this fixture an otherworldly quality as light travels along its orbital path. Its single-tier design creates an illusion of perpetual motion, while integrated LEDs provide consistent illumination throughout the spiral. The chandelier’s minimalist suspension system allows the spiral to appear as if floating in mid-air, while the central mount ensures stable, precise positioning.

George Kovacs

George Kovacs was born 1926 in Vienna, Austria. After moving to the US, Kovacs was enticed in 1954 to market J.T. Kalmar lamps. Inspired by the success of that endeavor--and the observed popularity of such contemporary lighting--Kovacs expanded his lighting import and design business (with locations throughout New York).
