Cutting-edge form for Venetian lighting results. The Impossible A Pendant from Metal Lux earns its name with a patterned shape so bright and airy it appears to defy gravity. The great sense of precision on display speaks to designer Massimo Mussapi’s approach of fusing industrial design with architecture and graphic design. Mussapi starts with an ultra-fine wire suspension that visually disappears with the lights on. The shade below hypnotizes like a graphical optical illusion. Metal wires stream around the light source, creating a vertical path for the light. The light also adds to the ambiance by sifting through the airy composition of angular wires making up the outer sculptural shade.
