Good looking and quiet. Bad Switch
This is a good looking and quiet fan and it functions well when you get it set right. I don't like the light and will probably not use it much. Cons: 1.) The installation instructions are wrong. They currently say to hold the on/off button for ten seconds to synch with the receiver. We did this for half an hour with no results before calling Quorum and they told us you actually have to hold the Light and the On/Off button simultaneously. Great. That's half an hour spent with an electrician on my payroll. Thanks guys. 2.) The switch feels cheap and unintuitive. There is no option for a remote even though the fan runs entirely on radio-control from the provided wall switch. I have trouble figuring out what speed the fan is on because it takes five seconds to switch and then more to spin up/down, so modulating with a "faster/slower" switch is hard. 3.) the light is cold compared to other LED bulb fans we have installed, and it's hard to regulate the light level because it's one button and tough to sort out if you're pointing up or down with it. There is no discernible rocker feeling.
Quorum International
Quorum International started in 1981 by the Davis family to be a ceiling fan company. They moved into the lighting industry a few years later and continue to market their products to showrooms around the country. Based out of Fort Worth, Texas, Quorum is still owned by the Davis family and is the parent company of three other lighting divisions.
