A marvelous modern design that starts with a disc ceiling mount and single fabric cord, it uses a short stem to support both a ruffled collar just above and the fixture’s single lamp held below it. The collar gently calls to mind the prominent neck adornments of mid-16th-century European couture, while its angular folds blaze with reflected ambiance from the globe-shaped shade of opal glass that surrounds the lamping.
