Designed by Bertjan Pot, the Moooi Heracleum III Endless LED Linear Suspension is a virtually limitless system featuring a thin metal frame adorned with delicate leaves of light. The light is powered with Electrosandwich®, a technique designed by Marcel Wanders that allows conductive layers in the metal to illuminate the LEDs. Perfectly suited to suspend as a single fixture, you can increase the distance and layout of the design with multiples and additional connectors with either 90° or 135° “bends” (sold separately). Each suspension is sold individually with a single canopy and two transparent cables.

Stunning Fixture Makes a Statement

We spent hours deciding between two very different fixtures for the dining room of our client's modern home surrounded by glass. We decided to go with the Moooi Heracleum as we were drawn to its delicate yet bold look, its transparency, and its branches that evoke the trees beyond the glass. Not only is it a stunning and statement-making light, but the way the LED "buds" extend from the "branches" creates a festive ambiance without detracting from the modern, sophisticated aesthetic. While the client hasn't moved in yet, it's already clear that the Moooi is a home run!

A project started by designers Marcel Wanders and Casper Vissers in 2001, Moooi creates furniture, lighting and accessories for the truly intrepid lover of modern design. The name comes from the Dutch word for beautiful, adding an extra "o" to the word to express the company's "extra value in terms of beauty and uniqueness."
