Haze Runner

The Haze Runner from Nanimarquina illustrates the moments of haze in nature in a painterly way with layers of color, texture, and shape. Designer Cana Özgür comes to her pieces with a hands-on design approach. This approach guides the hand-loomed construction technique used on the runner. The piece sees artisans blending New Zealand and Italian wool for a luscious feel against the feet. The fine fibers contrast in color and lay on top of each other as geometric shapes. The overlapping fibers also create new hues that draw the eye in their subtlety. The textured linear pattern of the runner adds to its attractive quality from edge to edge.
