The Hashira Table Lamp by Audo Copenhagen, formerly known as Menu, offers Japanese refinement mixed with Scandinavian simplicity. Designed by Norm Architects in 2020, and named after the Japanese word for pillar or column, it uses a steel and PS plastic structure to steady a cylindrical framework wrapped in translucent fabric, adding a sculptural note to its surroundings. This fabric arrangement serves to screen direct glare from the lamping set at its center, adding a warm, pleasantly-relaxed note that prompts visitors to gather around it and get comfortable.
