Attractive Lamp

build.com/This period lamp is simple and exactly what I was looking for. However, I am not sure of the quality control. I noticed right away a rather rough spot 1 1/2 inches tall on one of the base legs. My husband said it had been damaged, poorly fixed and painted over. Thus, the difference in color and texture. I debated about returning but wasn't sure if the next lamp would have another problem. Also, the shade has some dark green, you don't see in the picture, which actually works in my living room. Overall, a beautiful lamp but only gets 4 stars for the damaged base leg.
