Key Features
The Fun 7DM Chandelier from Verpan enlivens ceilings with a billowing cloudlike form that sheds generous radiant light all around it. An inspired creation from the mind of renowned designer Verner Panton, it started in 1964 and has been going strong since. Fine chains and a circular canopy give the fixture a retro feel while a shade made of seashell discs ensure that no two are exactly identical, creating individual pieces. The shade structure appears to float, transmitting a radiant warmth around the fixture that burnishes the metalwork above.
Founded in 2003, Verpan is the exclusive manufacturer of Danish icon Verner Panton’s extensive collection of lighting and furniture design. The company works directly with the Panton estate—in particular, his wife Marianne Panton--to bring new light to groundbreaking designs from the heyday of his career in the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s.
