The Solis LED Flushmount from Pablo Designs brings the spirit of sunlight inside, going back to basics with a dynamic display of ambient light from its straightforward form. Designed by Carmine Deganello with the objective of recreating the sun’s rays, it blends light and shadow in a radiant array, utilizing vertical slats to cast shimmering beams through its tube shade, made of flame-resistant polyester. The fixture ships flat-packed for minimal impact, and its inner LED lamp casts a focused downlight, combined with the diffused rays of light that reach out to the sides, for a layered, expressive presence.

Pablo Designs

Born in Venezuela, Pablo Pardo came to the US in the early 1980s and stayed. After getting his degree in industrial design from the University of Cincinnati in 1986, he designed for companies ranging from Fisher Price to Daimler Chrysler before settling in San Francisco. There he founded Pablo Designs in 1993, a lighting company specializing in refined designs that reinterpret light in its many forms.
