Flow Ceiling Fan

Love the added comfort this fan provides during the night for sleeping.

The fan is installed on a vaulted ceiling (using the 16" downrod) in a 10x14' bedroom. I was looking for a modern fan that also provided good quality light, as it is the main light source in the room. An electrician installed the fan so I can't speak to the installation. However, I'm very happy with the quality of light, though there is a slight delay in the lamp coming on. The fan is quiet and provides fantastic air circulation. I love the simplicity of the design. This fan is the perfect combination of form and function for my use.

This fan has already provided very comfortable nights during our recent summer heat wave, and it looks beautiful even when not moving!

I've probably put up a dozen ceiling fans over the years. From name brands to ones you get at the big-box hardware stores. This is by far the most expensive fan I've ever purchased, particularly after you add the lighting components. And yet it is by far the noisiest fan I've ever owned. I have triple checked it and short of completely disassembling it down to the bare motor, there is no way I can see to fix it. And I'm not sure even that would do it. I've had it about a month and use it every day. I hoped it would work itself out. But as I sit in my quiet office writing this, it's going "zing zing zing zing". Terrible. I got 2-wire wall and hand-held remote. I'm OK with the price of those. Buty I also purchased the halogen light add-on. Way over-priced for what you get. One other thing, the cowling that fits over the ceiling hanger doesn't fit very well. In fact it fits so poorly that I thought I must have made a mistake installing it. Not that I'm able to determine. And a small quibble, The screws that hold it in place are visible. Not a big deal but the cheap fan this replaced had a collar that concealed its screws. The only positives is that it is attractive and the blades are real bamboo. They are beautiful. Maybe they all aren't all so noisey but one I received is terrible.

This fan is sleek eye candy and such a great addition to the modern decor of our loft. It keeps the air flowing so our loft bedroom feels cool and comfortable at night. Love it!
