The Flask LED Pendant from Niche is expressive, bold, and with a calculated design that appears experimentally advanced. A Jeremy Pyles design supported from a low-profile canopy via a low-voltage coaxial cable, it secures custom LED lamping inside a shallow circular steel housing. The metal housing acts as a retention point for the flask-shaped shade of handcrafted glass, its rounded base creating a thick layer of shade that moderates bright glare into a warm and pleasing glow.

Niche

Niche was founded by accident. In 2003, Jeremy Pyles and Mary Welch were in the process of opening a home furnishings store in Manhattan, called Niche, but couldn't find inspiring display lighting for the storefront. So Pyles designed a glass pendant and had it custom blown in New York (where all Niche products are still hand-blown).
