Perfect for down lights at exterior doors.

Mine are installed on two stone veneer gate columns and the light from them washes over the stone beautifully. They were easy to install also.

Installed this attractive, understated and smallish fixture on each side of entry door. Provides good lighting for sidewalk and stairs approaching house without blinding them or passersby on public sidewalk. Like another commentator, I got this vs the LED fixture so as to be able to replace bulbs (with LED bulbs!). Just made first replacement after more than a year of leaving on all night, and had no trouble. Note to those with lap siding: bought an item at local Menard's made specifically for mounting light fixtures in that situation. It was inexpensive and blends perfectly with siding.

I wanted to put on a screen door, and the existing light was a monstrosity. I needed a low profile light so that I could open the door when I put one on. The fixture is to specs. My problem in the placement of the original fixture (too close to the door) and the type of siding (slanted). I think this will work, though. Just can't open the door ALL the way.

I need small and attractive lights to flank the door of a small enclosed porch, and these fit the bill nicely. I wanted dark-sky compliant, SIMPLE design, which is what I got. They make a nice, raking light down the wall. I choose this rather than the LED version because I want to keep the lights for a long time. I can install GU-10 LEDs in these when the halogens burn out, and I wasn't sure what options the dedicated LED model would provide. The light is bright but not glaring. I didn't rate quality as I don't feel qualified to do so but give product overall 5 stars because it seems to be of high quality material and elegant design for a reasonable price.
