The Encinitas Tree Floor Lamp from Nova of California angles tapered cones off a narrow pole, each tipped with a curved wooden cap. Created by Peter Morelli in 1961, the design leans into mid-century modern lines, with small slotted cutouts punched near the top of every cone. Made of iron, each shade has its own on/off switch so it can be used independently, while a timber inset at the circular base echoes the caps above.

Nova of California

Founded in 1923 by three brothers, Nova of California is one of the oldest lighting companies in North America. After thriving through the depression years, the company continued to grow, driven by its mission of bringing warmth and comfort to all homes. By the 1960s, the brand was producing pieces that are now considered classics. Today, innovative Nova of California mirrors update home interiors through the use of LED lighting, smart technology and interactivity.
