The Edward Carafe from Serax takes the shape of a bottle wrapped by a life-sized hand pressed against its side, with fingers and knuckles molded directly into the glass. Designed by Wouters & Hendrix, the piece works as a functional carafe despite its unusual, sculptural form. Made from glass, the molded hand detail runs along one full side of the body, leaving the rest of the surface smooth. The narrow neck and opening remain plain, keeping the hand detail as the piece's central feature.
