Made in USA
The Eames Turned Stool from Herman Miller is made from contoured, solid wood created using a process that keeps the flowing, organic woodgrain on full display. Charles and Ray Eames created this strong and flexible design for the lobby of the Time-Life Building in New York. It followed the Eameses to their Pacific Palisades home as both furniture and as an art object. Either side can be the top or the bottom, and both ends are concave, meaning they can retain planters or other small accessories while offering a steady seat.

Herman Miller

One of the most influential brands in American design, renowned for pioneering iconic mid-century modern furniture and lighting solutions, Herman Miller began its storied history in 1905 as Star Furniture Co. in Zeeland, Michigan. In 1923, businessman Herman Miller lent his name to the company, signaling a new chapter under the visionary leadership of his son-in-law, D.J. De Pree. This marked the beginning of Herman Miller's transformation into kingmakers of mid-century design.
