Well-designed accessible fixture pairs perfectly with my modest space. Lighting provided is just right when dimmed. Responsive remote control interface is a huge upgrade from the previous fixtures we had. The design is quiet and allows the room to speak, whilst functionally quiet construction provides in-room comfort for my family.

Based on the description at Lumens, this fan reverses direction using the control, the control is handheld..the remote..That is false!!!!! According to MinkaAire, you have to get on a ladder, lift the casing and reverse it using a switch under the casing by the motor. Now, I had to hire an electrician to put it up, now hire another one to take it down and hire them again to put another one back up. Lumens customer service did not even apologize or look to change the description. I order quite a bit from Lumens, now I can't trust that their descriptions will match the order.

Basic ceiling fan, works as intended.

I bought this fan for a bedroom and it looks great, works smoothly and quietly and the price fit my current budget. The reverse switch is on the fan housing but I wish it had a switch on the remote. I know Minka's fans that are priced above this one have that feature. Luckily the fan is easily reachable with a small step ladder. Definitely recommend.
