LOUSY PRODUCT....WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I purchased this fixture as a kitchen island light for a home we lost in a California wildfire. the website description indicates, "Length Adjustable From 25', Adjustable To 148.2'" The suspension cables are of thin rigid plastic, so, when hung, the fixture sways in the slightest breeze. For example whenever a door opens and it does not stabilize for several minutes. I called customer service on three or four separate occasions to describe the condition. The first representative said it could not be returned because we had it installed. I responded that we were unable to experience the condition until the unit was installed. She put me on hold and after speaking to a "supervisor, she returned to say she would process the return. Having heard nothing further after a day or two, I called once again and the agent to whom I was speaking said there were "no notes" in the record regarding the earlier communication. Thus, I had to repeat the earlier discussion and, once again was put on hold and told someone would get back to me after speaking with the manufacturer. Again, CRICKETS. I then placed a third call, repeated my two prior comments, learned "there are no notes in the record," was told the same thing about contacting the manufacturer, asked to send a video, given a promise to notate my file, and a promised a call back. Again, NOTHING!! As a final effort at resolution, I spoke to a very helpful Dontrell Andrews in sales because I considering the Ponte Linear fixture as replacement IF the suspension cables were metal rather than plastic. He confirmed that they were and also reached out to get someone in Customer Service to respond to my issues, STILL WAITING.

Love it!! Simple, hip, gives off a lot of light. Only strange thing is that the small bulbs are built in to last about 50,000 hours and are non replaceable.

The height of the light fixture is adjustable as described, but it's basically a super-long hanging wire that you pull through the mounting bracket and tuck into the ceiling box. I couldn't manage to get all of the wire to fit into the box with the amount of leftover wire I had when installing on an 8' ceiling, so I decided to cut the wire to shorten it instead. You'll have to re-connect the snipped ends by stripping the sheathing and twisting them together in a wire nut, but that's no big deal. I suppose I wouldn't be able to think of a better way to allow for such a wide range of heights, but just something to be aware of. Also FYI in case it's not clear - the lights themselves are built-in LEDs and not replaceable bulbs. Otherwise, it's very lightweight and the lighting has a nice warm color.

We recently had this installed over our new kitchen island. We wanted a light fixture that is more slender in appearance so as to not distract from our dining room starburst chandelier. We also wanted something that would not block a view to the exterior. This is a nice fixture that provides good light for working without being bulky. We love it.
