The Drape Multi Hook Multi-Light Pendant by SkLO is a design from wife and husband team Karen Gilbert and Paul Pavlak. Honoring honest materials and traditional craftsmanship, this pair combines their backgrounds to make subtly beautiful and simple pieces. From a single canopy, an array of fabric wrapped cords descend to support individually handblown Czech glass diffusers. A unique, double-dipped, fire-polished mouth completes each glass sphere, highlighting where each piece was broken away from the glassblower’s pipe when it was made, and each cord comes with a custom solid brass loop that matches with a hook to compose and integrate this fixture into any space.
SkLO is a collaborative design company founded by Pavel Hanousek, Karen Gilbert, and Paul Pavlak. Although Based out of Healdsburg, CA, the team works with master glassmakers in the Czech Republic importing hand-blown glass for their lighting fixtures in the SkLO: LIT collection. Slight variation in each piece is welcome, emphasizing the beauty of the handmade process with each design.
