Overall, it looks pretty good and works just fine. On the other hand, I bought the bulb recommended with this lamp, and it shuts out beyond the edge of the lampshade. Therefore, when I'm on the other side of the room, I'm blinded by this light. It's really quite a bummer. I wish I had realized that before I started using it, and I would've returned it. But the bulb came in the mail like a week after the lab itself, so I had already had it in use with a different bulb. I'm gonna go on the lookout for a shorter bulb to see if I can get one that doesn't jut out as much.
