A celebration of curves. The Curlicue Vanity Light by Maxim Lighting makes a striking impression in modern décor. Beautiful spheres made of clear seeded glass are balanced on sleek bowls. An elegantly curved steel design supports and wraps around the spheres to create a dramatic effect. This fixture is mounted to the wall with a reflective rectangular backplate. Back in 1965, Jacob Sperling came to Los Angeles to study aeronautical engineering. Inspired by a job working for a lighting retailer, he turned his mechanical skills to the manufacture of lighting fixtures, building them in his garage and selling them out of his station wagon. In 1970, he brought brother Zvi on to help, and Maxim Lighting was born.
