Terrible engineering

Beautiful fan. Terrible engineering. Pretty much universal standard is a 3/4 " downrod diameter. This one can only use 1/2" and only provides a 4" long and 6" long downrod. Useless with a 70" diameter fan that you typically would place on high ceilings requiring a longer downrod. Can't find one anywhere unless you order the custom Oxygen downrod. Then the wiring harness that has to go through the downrod is too big so you have to cut and splice all the wires. Terrible design. I would never buy another.
