Design classic, as good as plastic gets!
I've long admired Kartell's Componibili line but the price (the Italian great design surchage) was always a bit offputting. I finally pulled the trigger when I found a couple of the modular components on sale at YLighting because they were open box. I knew I would love my Componibili as I had researched them before purchasing and they don't disappoint. I plan on using them as endtables in my bedroom. What did surprise me was how helpful and efficient (and genuinely nice) the YLighting customer service person I spoke to was.

This table is perfect for my modern nursery as a table for next to the recliner. my guess is I might get frustrated with the round storage space, but it looks very cool and is spacious, both important to me!
Kartell
Based in Milan, Italy, Kartell was founded in 1949 by chemical engineer Giulio Castelli and his wife, architect Anna Castelli. Originally a producer of car accessories, it was Kartell's experimentation in plastics for the home that made them famous. Stylish home accessories and lighting dominated the 1950s, with the first injection-molded furniture emerging in the 1960s. Since then, the Kartell modern furniture line has only continued to grow, including contemporary chairs, tables, sofas and more--all made out of durable, lightweight and surprisingly comfortable plastic.
