The Colonnade Cross Pendant from Stickbulb arranges illuminated wooden cylinders into an intersecting cross configuration, pairing strong geometric lines with the organic warmth of reclaimed timber. Each section surrounds a recessed illuminated core that casts a soft, even glow throughout the open structure. Produced in Stickbulb’s New York City studio, the fixture uses salvaged wood gathered from dismantled water towers, fallen trees, and locally reclaimed buildings. Its suspended design works especially well above dining tables, collaborative spaces, and larger interiors seeking a warm architectural focal point.

Stickbulb

Founded in 2012, Stickbulb is a collaborative project from RUX, a New York design firm. Originally, RUX designers conceived of the project when they were inspired by a stack of scrap wood in their workshop. Today the Stickbulb lighting systems are crafted from sustainable materials locally sourced from the greater southern New York region. The slim wooden beams come in lengths from one to six feet in length and are created to plug in and out of the associated hardware without any extra tools. The sets are fully customizable, with no limits on creativity, inspiring advanced designs.
