Conceived with the inspiration of the phosphorescent envelope that surrounds stars, it starts simply, sending down a single slim cable to a vertically-held disc housing of smooth metal, edged with an acrylic diffuser. The housing conceals potent LED lamping able to bathe its surroundings in an even layer of light that pushes the cord into the background, appearing to float when illuminated.
