I'm a fan of mid-century furniture and have been looking for this type of lamp for a long time. It often shows up on sites in black, so when I discovered this one in white it was exactly what I had been searching for.

I am enjoying this lamp. the shape is attractive, the amount of light excellent for reading, and the assembly was easy. I wish the base were all black. Also, the shade needs to be kept quite low in order not to see the bulb when seated in other areas of the room.
