2700k led so it's not brash. Good dimming range with ELV dimmer I had electrician install. Would not try to do myself from Instructions provided. Had to point to different direction after I installed. Different from every angle. Not for 8 ft ceilings. But in right airy place with higher ceilings awesome Piece. Mine is 32" from table top (lowest point of the light). Unique. Only negative is the price. I justified because it is truly artwork.

The light is so gorgeous and intricate and the way the bands move is so fluid. Sometimes I get a little worried that a strand will break off because of how thin they are, but so far so good.

The Ilan fixture is sculptural, even architectural, and yet strikingly simple and airy; it's also finely functional as a lighting fixture. After having looked at an enormous number of fixtures on line, I can say confidently that it's exceptionally distinctive. We've had it for ten days or so, and continue to congratulate ourselves for buying it, as have those friends who have seen it.
