The Ceylon Wall Sconce by A19 is cast from bisque Ceramic that looks wonderful in white but can be painted any color you choose – no primer need. The body has crisscrossed wings that fold over like a bird at rest. Most of the light is sent upward into the environment above. However, there is a hollow at the bottom of the crossed wings that adds another dash of radiance to the surrounding environment

I bought this fixture a month ago as a replacement for a dated one. It provides an excellent "wall washer" effect both up & down. Even better, it was made in the USA!

In 1998, A19 founder Cinnamon Finken sat down with a friend over drinks and doodled plans for her own design company on the back of a cocktail napkin. The following Monday she told her boss that she wanted to acquire the company; miraculously, he was on board and subsequently mentored Cinnamon throughout the entire transition process.
