The light from the the Artemide Castore 25 Suspension shade--a hand blown sphere of White glass--flows part of the way up the supporting steel tube due to the translucent White polycarbonate sleeve. Available with choice of lamping, a standard maximum hanging length of 87.5 inches or an extended length of 177.19 inches.

Really beautiful fixture

This is a lovely fixture that gives off a good amount of light and will never go out of style. It is well constructed and arrived packed in two boxes. It is a bit expensive, but it's worth it. I used it in my bathroom over my sink. Because of the height of the fixture though, it is best used in homes with tall ceilings, like mine (12 feet +).

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
