A satellite-inspired lighting floating mid-air over dining hall or kitchen island. The Calipso Pendant by Artemide features a honeycomb-like structure with fluted sides and multiple openings. It was made by feeding a photo of the moon into an image-based algorithm composed of cylinders that resemble a honeycomb surface. Within each cylinder is a diffuser concealing an LED light source that delivers a soft glow. Suspended from a rectangular ceiling canopy via slim cords, this fixture brings an ultra-modern twist to your home.
