Starting with a smooth dome canopy, it sends a slim woven cable down to a short stem accent that supports the fixture’s structure, a smooth metal oval that extends potent lamping from the inner side of the top and bottom. A translucent shade of textured opal glass extends around each lamp, gentling bright glare to an even warmth that flares out from two distinct points.

B.lux was started in 1981 in Markina in Spain's Basque Country on the Northern Iberian Peninsula. To this day, they still operate in the region from the picturesque town of Gizaburuaga, in facilities which contain warehousing, manufacturing and a 2,000 square-foot showroom.
