This is a very attractive and well-build product. Very solid, hefty brass, with a very pleasing patina so it's no overly shiny and brassy. Only two potential issues: The fixture isn't very bright; I knew this when I bought it, so not a problem. Just be aware. More for accent lighting than lighting up a room, but it succeeds very well at that The light from it is very, very yellow, even when put at the somewhat higher 3000K temp setting. This appears to be because most of the light coming out of the sconce, particularly that which hits the white wall we have behind it, is being reflected by the brass on in inside of the sconce. I'm a huge fan of warm-temperature light (most of our bulbs in the house are 2700K, and anything above 3000K makes me want to vomit), but this is too much, even for me. On the 2700K setting, the light that comes out is outright orange. On 3000K it's still extremely yellow. On the highest temp setting, it's no longer yellow, but has a greenish tinge I can't tolerate. So we go with the mama bear and get the yellow light. Still very overall pleased with the purchase. Presume this wouldn't be an issue with the non-brass versions of the item. And now that I think about it, I may try taping a piece of white poster board on the inside and see if that fixes it...
