Remote receiver is too large to fit in the junction box or under the canopy. Unusable. Instructions say to insert into the ceiling mount bracket. Doesn't fit.

I'm in love with this fan. The matte white is so chic and modern and fades into the ceiling. Installation was straightforward, although I did use an electrician. I don't mind that it doesn't have a remote because of the location where we have it, it's a non-issue.In terms of power, hard to say because we have it an a big common area that gets really hot because we have floor to ceiling windows, and this fan was more of an adjunct to the central AC, but I think in smaller space cooling would be fantastic with the four blades.

kichler.com/Putting the remote control in the wall switch is really goofy. To make any change, you must walk further than to a pull chain. Also, when the batteries are new, the range is much further, maybe 100 feet, so neighbors control your fan & lights in a subdivision because there is only 16 settings on the 4 binary dip switch. Plus, the reverse direction switch is on the top, where you can't see it, rather than on the side. I have 4 of these fans to replace.
