B.lux was started in 1981 in Markina in Spain's Basque Country on the Northern Iberian Peninsula. To this day, they still operate in the region from the picturesque town of Gizaburuaga, in facilities which contain warehousing, manufacturing and a 2,000 square-foot showroom. A leader in contemporary lighting design, each product is artisanal by nature–created by a person, for a person.
