The Reflect Shape 2 Pendant by SkLO brings a glossy luster to the home as it illuminates with warm light. A modern piece from designers Paul Pavlak and Karen Gilbert, this fixture descends from a flat, circular canopy by a thin brass stem. Its polished, mirrored glass shade forms a unique, expressive shape as it sends warm light through the ground and polished opening at its end. Its distinct metallic effect is created through a process that allows the glass to appear opaque when unlit and semi-transparent when illuminated, expressing the designers’ ability to combine traditional artisanship with modern art.

SkLO

Located in Northern California, SkLO is the brainchild of artist Karen Gilbert, architect Paul Pavlak, and Czech-native Pavel Hanousek. The three met in Healdsburg in 2009, and after discovering a unanimous passion for hand-blown glass (sklo means “glass” in Czech), they decided to create a multi-disciplinary studio focusing on glass lighting and accessory design.
